I. What We Gather
When you create an account we record your chosen account name, your email address, a securely hashed copy of your password, and the date your account was created. During play, we log connection timestamps and basic activity for security and anti-cheat purposes.
II. Why We Keep It
Your email is used solely for account recovery (password reset links and account-name reveal links). We do not send newsletters or marketing mail. Character names are visible to other players in-game as part of normal gameplay.
III. Who Sees It
Your personal information is never sold, rented, or traded to third parties. We do not use advertising networks. Staff may access account data only when investigating a reported violation or a support request you have filed.
IV. How We Protect It
Passwords are stored as salted cryptographic hashes — we cannot read your password, only verify it. All traffic between your client and our servers is encrypted. We follow reasonable security practices for a volunteer-run project.
V. Cookies & Logs
This website uses no tracking cookies. Our server logs standard HTTP request data (IP address, timestamp, requested path) for operational and security purposes. Logs are retained for 30 days.
VI. Your Rights
You may request a copy of your personal data or ask for your account to be permanently deleted at any time by contacting us on Discord. Deletion removes your email and account name from our systems within 30 days; anonymised play logs may be retained.
VII. Changes
If we ever need to change this Scroll in a material way, we will announce it in the Discord server at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
