Primer: Gem Crafting
Two matching gems can become one gem of the next level. The Gem Rookie in Blython does it for a little gold, with a chance to fail that Imperfect Stardust removes. Higher gems go to the Gem Master, and some become Diamonds at the Gem Converter.

Stage 1
Gems combine in pairs at the Gem Rookie in Blython.
Give the Gem Rookie two gems of the same type and level. Two Emerald +1 will do.
