Low gems (+1 to +7) are worth more than they look in the Guild HQ. Mentor Vela turns them into skill experience and Lucretia into pet intimacy, for 1 Service Rate a gem. Big gems (+11 to +13) go to the Gem Jester.

Stage 1
Try both gem trades in the Guild HQ.
Give Mentor Vela a +1 to +7 gem for skill experience, and give Lucretia one for pet intimacy with a pet summoned. Any order. Vela still accepts one if your skills cannot be trained.
Reward: Service Rate and experience
Stage 2
Both trades are done. Report back to Mentor Vela.
