Your first steps
Create your account on the website, then follow the download instructions to install the client. In the game, speak to the Newbie Guide and follow the objectives in your quest journal.
The opening Battle Basics quest introduces your race and the Battle Instructor. Finish the fight and return to the Newbie Guide to receive your pet egg. The Egg Hatching quest then leads you to the Pet Keeper and asks you to summon your first companion.
Use the journal and the wiki together
Check your current quest objective before travelling.
Look up the quest in the quest directory for its starter and journal steps.
Follow its NPC and map links to find the location. Coordinates use the game's tile coordinates.
Return to the named NPC when the objective asks you to report back.
Quest pages reproduce the journal's objectives. A quest may also check your progress through other quests or require access to its region; the minimum level alone does not promise that it is available.
Grow beyond the tutorial
Complete different quests to build reputation, which unlocks more services. Browse the bestiary to compare companions and their skills. At higher levels, the system primers introduce gem crafting, forging, and equipment enhancement.
Accept a primer before performing its practice action. The action advances the quest while the relevant step is active. Keep room in your inventory for practice items and rewards.
